MEETING IN SLOVENIA
Learning Teaching Training Activity 18-23 April 2023
Monday - 18/04/2022
Arrival to Škofja Loka
Our journey started just after the midnight. Our first flight was from Adana to İstanbul and the second was from İstanbul to Ljubljana - capital of Slovenia. After a short trip our staff and students arrived at Škofja Loka and after having some rest at the hotel walk arround the town.

Predavalnica
Welcome to our school
Presentations of the country, their town (school if you have) (Slovenia, Turkey, Bolgaria).
Learning about other school system, culture and sights of the county. By the presentations they will learn and improve their English language and expand their knowledge about different cultures.
10:15 – 10:30
Coffee break, snack
10:30 – 12:00
Tour to our school guided by pupils.
Classrooms and observing different lessons (pupils and teachers will get to know the work of our school).
12.00 – 13.00
A sightseeing in Škofja Loka guided by the pupils of English Drama Club Hotheads (Ice-cream, coffee)
Pupils and teachers will go round the old part of Škofja Loka with castle and get to know something about the history of the town and its castle. They will take photos which will be used in another word activity.
Accompanying teachers will help with the communication and understanding
13.00 – 14.00
Lunch for teachers and pupils
14:00 – 15:00
Presentation of national food and dishes (PPT).
Pupils will get to know new dishes and recepies from native players and have a chance to build good friendships. They will learn some simple words of other nations.
Those activities will facitilitate the recognition and validation of knowledge, skills and competences acquired through formal and non-formal learning.
All the material will be uploaded into eTwinning classroom.

Wednesday - 20/04/2022

A trip to Bled
Bled with its island and the castle on the rock is the pearl of Gorenjska region. Pupils will get familiar with its History and Geography.
They will take photos which will be used in another ICT activity.
Accompanying teachers will help with the communication and understanding.
13:00 – 14:00
Lunch for pupils and teachers
14:00 – 16:00
Pupils will work in mixed groups in a computer room making a poster of their favourite food and dishes (favourite breakfast, snack, lunch, dinner, fruit, vegetables, cake, drink….) guided by pupils and teachers.
Coordinators meeting
Pupils will share and exchange their abilities on ICT work and integrate them into a real school lesson with the product which will be a team work poster. This will be the added value of their courses which were held at partners’ schools.
Teachers will monitor their work, discussions
Accompanying teachers will help with the communication and understanding.
All the material will be uploaded into eTwinning classroom.
Playing games
Pupils will learn new games from native players and have a chance to build good friendships. They will learn some simple words of other nations.

Literary tea party
Probably we’ll invite Turkish and Bolgarian ambasy, mayor, parents and teachers
(suggest dinner at Valter, Jesharna, Kašča)

The whole day trip – Postojna cave and Piran
Learning songs
Postojna cave is the world famous attraction with olms.
Piran is a town with its medieval architecture with narrow streets and located on the gulf on the Adriatic sea.
Pupils will see the most beautiful places of Slovenia and get familiar with their History and Geography.
They will take photos which will be used in another word activity
Accompanying teachers will help with the communication and understanding.
Friday- 22/04/2022
8.15 – 9:30
Visiting a protective work center (disabled people)
We’ll meet and create together with people who have acquired the status of a disabled person. Students will talk about accepting diversity and tolerance.
Day of traditional dishes
Baking dishes, biscuits, cakes for the evening celebration.
Pupils will learn new recepies and dishes from native countries and cook together in groups. Pupils will learn some simple words in different languagesThey will have a chance to build good friendships. They will learn some simple words of other nations.
10:00-12:00
Coordinators and teachers meeting for planning the next term activities and their dessimination.
Evaluation of the work which has been done and planning further activities.
Accompanying teachers will help with the communication and understanding
All the material will be uploaded into eTwinning classroom.
Those activities will facitilitate the recognition and validation of knowledge, skills and competences acquired through formal and non-formal learning.
12.00 – 13.00
Lunch for pupils and teachers (free)

Continue if necessary …
Baking dishes, biscuits, cakes for the evening celebration.
Pupils will work in in a computer room making a poster of their activities in Slovenia).
The workshop will be guided by Slovenian teacher and the others will help her.
Pupils will share and exchange their abilities on ICT work and integrate them into a real school lesson with the product which will be an individual and a team work poster. This will be the added value of their courses which were held at partners’ schools.
Teachers will monitor their work, discussions….
Accompanying teachers will help with the communication and understanding
They will evaluate their work and share their experiences having during the training course.
All the material will be uploaded into eTwinning classroom.
The coordinators will monitor the work, discuss, prepare a plan for the next activities .

A trip to the capital city of Slovenia – Ljubljana
A sightseeing tour in Ljubljana. Pupils will peep into our capital city, get to know something about the history of the town, see the most famous buildings and feel the city throb. They will take photos
Accompanying teachers will help with the communication and understanding.
13.00 – 14..00
Lunch for pupils and teachers (McDonalds or self-service)
Teachers Tea Djokić and Liza will accompany you.

Free time in Ljubljana. You can come back by bus directly to Škofja Loka.
